"INTERNA" is a group exhibition that featured several artists working with photography in the city and province of Salzburg. The show was curated by art historian Ruth Maurer from Vienna, who has already curated some outstanding shows for Fotohof in the past. After several meetings with local photographers she designed a very special show featuring much of the current Salzburg photo scene.

"With 41 photographic positions of photographers and artists of Salzburg the exhibition "Interna" gives an insight into the vividness of a local scene and at the same time initiates the idea that the technical quality of a picture is not the only relevant criterion of photography. An emphasis on internal qualities, the diction of the medium itself or the inquiry of traditional forms of representation are only a few ways to add something to the stereotyped reactions of photographers naming their artistic objects."
