Born in Vienna in 1950, grew up in Laab im Walde (Lower Austria), since 1979 he lives in Salzburg (Austria). He studied commercial studies in Vienna, graduated in 1974 and has since been working in private industry. His training was based on his participation in a number of courses on artistic photography, such as, among others, workshops with Roger Palmer and Joan Fontcuberta at the Salzburg College. He has been working with Galerie Fotohof since 1996, the same year in which he started to exhibit his works of photographic art.
